What Neil Cavoto---who I think so little of that it pains me to even mention this charlatan's name--and the rest of the pandemic panic mob have been saying is not supported by real data. From AIER:
"More people are currently in the hospital with COVID, but new hospitalizations are relatively low with a flat trend over the past few weeks. And on top of that, a smaller portion of those infected need to be hospitalized. And deaths continue to fall. The virus appears to be spreading as quickly as ever, but with fewer new hospitalizations and deaths, and longer hospital stays."
You were never going to stop the spread---remember we were just striving to not flood the ICUs which is still succeeding----and everyone knew that the spread would continue. The healthy and those who are not over 75 are at only a small risk of death. We cannot continue to overreact when the data says open the economy and to isolate those at risk. Anyone saying different has very little data to support their pandemic panic.
This is like a lot of viruses in nature. The weak with comorbidity issues and the very old are always at high risk and if anyone has observed nature in their lifetime they have seen it in animal populations. So stay home if you are really old or have a serious comorbidity and protect yourself but lets stop the panic.
