The Lessons of the Past: part 3
There is much more to come but this I can say with a reasonable degree of certainty about OSDH issue—there was incompetence by employees, elected officials and appointees at a level that no citizen of Oklahoma should be burdened with by any party. Those that say this is in the past and we should ‘just move on’ fail to understand that incompetence does not cure itself and the millions (yes it is millions) of dollars of salaries that taxpayers continue to pay to those that could not or would not do their job is not OK.
Not to mention that at the root of this is a number of people at OSDH who have been acting as our overlords during the pandemic. The former Chief Operating Officer is just the first that need flushed out in the open. Curious that the Insurance Commissioner would hire her as General Counsel knowing she was in a position that should have known about the bogus financials at OSDH. Just because a person has an R behind their name is no reason not to hold them accountable.
