"Full House" star Jodie Sweetin was involved in an altercation with police over the weekend. In opposition to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, Sweetin was taking part in a protest, blocking traffic on a freeway in California, where abortion is still as legal as it ever was. Some are saying she was shoved by police in this video. Others say she lost her footing as police reached out to help her.
For whatever reason, people protesting on behalf of radical left policies have chosen to block traffic as a means of communicating their message. Things had already been heating up in Los Angeles, where one pro-choice protester attempted to set a cop on fire, so the police were on high alert.
In the video, it appears Sweetin may have been removed from the street protest which was blocking people from getting to their jobs. She looks like she breaks free from the police and loses her footing. The cop she was talking to reached out, which is where some think she was pushed. A second cop reach out to try and stop her fall, but then gravity took over. She skidded into the pavement where her other comrades were still blocking traffic.
Sweetin tells Fox News that she is proud of the people that are taking "immediate action to peacefully protest the giant injustices that have been delivered from our Supreme Court" and pledged that her activism will continue until action is taken.
It is unclear what action she wants to be taken. The protest was over the overturn of Roe v. Wade, which allows state to set restrictions on abortion. California, the state Sweetin protested in, has chosen to set NO restrictions on abortion.
