There are fires burning up and down the Pacific coast. Obviously it's because of climate change running wild like it's Hulkamania in the '80s. Just like the two most common causes of climate change are *checks notes* gender reveal parties and arson. With a mix of the 'rona (see US FORESTRY SERVICE STOPPED CONTROLLED BURNS OVER COVID FEARS and CLIMATE CHANGE CAUSED AUSTRALIAN WILDFIRES, SAYS GIZMODO, JUST IGNORE ALL THE ARSONISTS ARRESTED). An Oregon woman saw someone about to commit climate change on her property with matches. Thankfully, she had a gun.
She shared the story on her Facebook page. The video I had to grab from some rando on YouTube because Facebook is sucking today for some reason.
"If I need to do this again to protect my family and my neighbors, I will in a heartbeat do it again, except this time I will not be as nice as I was," Cast wrote in the Facebook post, which also featured a photo of the suspected arsonist being handcuffed by cops.
She declined to comment further on the incident.
"I will not put my family in danger by exposing myself any more than what I have already," Cast wrote.
