![]() Today’s show brought you the latest on the drama surrounding Elon Musk and Media Matters. Here is why he is not an anti-semite. Elon Musk said over the weekend that he wouldbe filing a lawsuit against leftist outlet Media Matters for America over a story it ran that he said was misleading and intended to undermine free speech. “X Corp will be filing a thermonuclear lawsuit against Media Matters and ALL those who colluded in this fraudulent attack on our company,” Musk wrote on X. The story was published on Thursday and claimed that X was placing ads for major corporations alongside Nazi-related content. In the aftermath, multiple corporations said that they would be pulling advertising. The left has also been making false claims about remarks that Musk made on X last week. In one example, CNN’s Jake Tapper claimed that Musk “openly endorsed” an “antisemitic conspiracy theory that Jews are conspiring to replace white Americans with minority immigrants.” Tapper tried to push DeSantis to condemn Musk and claimed that Musk “openly endorsed” an “antisemitic conspiracy theory.” DeSantis said that he had not seen the comments and Tapper responded by showing DeSantis only a portion of the comments. Musk made two comments in response to an X post that said, "Jewish communities have been pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them. I'm deeply disinterested in giving the tiniest shit now about western Jewish populations coming to the disturbing realization that those hordes of minorities that support flooding their country don't exactly like them too much. You want truth said to your face, there it is.” Musk said in the first comment, "You have said the actual truth" followed by the second comment saying “The ADL unjustly attacks the majority of the West, despite the majority of the West supporting the Jewish people and Israel. This is because they cannot, by their own tenets, criticize the minority groups who are their primary threat. It is not right and needs to stop.” But of course, the left leaves his second comments out when discussing this matter. "That sounds a whole lot like he is not for racism," Gerald A said. "It almost sounds like there is context." Musk also said last week that anyone advocating for genocide will be removed from X. "He was defended by prominent Jewish voices on the matter including Ben Shapiro and Jonathan Greenblatt from the ADL," Gerald A said. "Media Matters tried to do something to damage [X]. To damage the brand to try and make advertisers flee to hurt Elon Musk,” Gerald A said. “They hate free speech. That is why. Not because there is hate speech on the site.” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is opening an investigation into Media Matters for "potential fraudulent activity." In a similar matter, Trump’s Truth Social parent company also announced it would sue 20 media outlets. "What we need to see is the media being held accountable when they actively try to damage a company and they do it in a way that is lying. They are not telling the truth about the company and letting you make that decision. They are lying about the company. They have done this for far too long and it is time they are held accountable," Gerlad A said. The boycott, as reported by The Daily Mail, stems from an injury suffered by an opposing player blocking one of Francesca Needham's, the trans soccer player, shots. Details are unclear. But it appears when Franchesca's (who was born a dude) natural strength advantages met with the other player's (born a lady) naturally weaker bone density, it shattered the other player's knee. Two matches were called off when the opposing players feared for their safety. BTW, this is Francesca.
Francesca agreed to step away from the sport for the time being but is considering a discrimination lawsuit because of other players who selfishly prioritize their safety and well-being over Francesca's desire to live her best, beautiful, and brave life. This unfortunate circumstance has prompted me to investigate pursuing a case of discrimination, as I believe it represents a breach of a code of conduct regarding diversity and inclusion, as well as safeguarding of adults in football established by both the Football Association and the Sheffield and Hallamshire Women and Girls League. DM asked one of the coaches why their team refused to play against Francesca and was told, "I have 16 and 17 year old players playing for me and their parents weren't too keen to put their welfare at risk." It's the crucial debate we find ourselves arguing over in 2023. The are people in who believe in biology and feel that because boys are born with certain biological advantages in strength and athletics, it is unfair -- and UNSAFE -- for them to compete against girls. And there are people who believe in a noun, a verb, and call someone transphobe. The devil is all in the details. When a North Carolina college volleyball star suffered a concussion after a male player on the opposing team spiked a ball in her face, because that male identified as a female, it wasn't a horrific injury as much as it was an ouchie suffered in the name of tolerance and inclusion. But when a field hockey player had her teeth shattered after a boy on the opposing girls' team shot the ball in her face, because that boy didn't identify as a girl and was only taking advantage of rules put in place to allow boys who DO identify as girls to play against girls, it "magnified the concerns of many about player safety." Unclear is what would happen if that male player decides he's been a female player this entire time. Francesca hopes the issue of "perceived discrimination" against him and/or her can be resolved peacefully and promptly. ><><><><><>< Brodigan is Grand Poobah of this here website and when he isn't writing words about things enjoys day drinking, pro-wrestling, and country music. A dude in Austin didn't follow rule #3 over the weekend. He is now on the wrong end of a viral video. It is unclear what started the fight. The X-post accompanying this video claims an angry woman snagged a phone and threw it into the street. It is unclear if it was this woman that one of the Marines was attempting to calm down. My man wearing the Diggin' Detroit shirt was the one also wearing his bad-idea jeans. I say this as someone who has been at every stage of inebriation over the years. At no stage did I ever say to myself, "Self, that dude in his dress blues hanging out with his brothers in their dress blues? I can take him." Spoiler: He could not. Things ended the exact way you would expect. It's Texas, and you started a fight with a bunch of Marines. Marines who ended what you started.
I see people dropping X in response to this video about how America is going to hell and how it's not safe for Marines to walk the streets anymore. While it is true that decades of progressive policies have turned our cities into crime and poop-infested suckholes, I think this video is merely what happens when you hit the Henny a little too hard and don't make the best decisions. It was a mistake that could have easily been made out in Real America as well. Thank you to Diggin' Detroit for the content, Thank you to the Marines for the content and their service. In no other part of the world was this more relevant than the UK and the Just Stop Oil nincompoops. You know, the people who block traffic and wonder why everyone hates them so much. Even vegans take a break from screaming at people eating meat in front of them to roll their eyes at the JSOs. One bystanding Brit had enough. As these nutters were blocking traffic to save the planet while causing cars to idle and spew more emissions into the planet, he took the JSOs to school. Everything they own? If it wasn't made by oil, it was oil adjacent. "What do you mean just stop oil? All your stuff is made out of oil, you idiots. Your clothes, these jackets, they are all made out of oil. What the hell are you doing here making a nuisance out of yourselves?" He continued to point out what a joke they were, "What are you doing here? Get off the roads you're wasting everbody's time and petrol. All these, guys their engines are running all the time wasting more bloody oil, you nutters." Side note: apparently, "bloody" is a cuss word in the UK. Daily Mail wrote it as "b*****."
I don't know if Brits can be "patriots" since they still live in England. But if possible, this hero would be one. As we get ready to give thanks in America, one of the things we here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website are thankful for is Just Stop Oil content. It's what we call a "deuce" in the content hustling world. The videos are funny on their own, watching these dinkuses get their comeuppance from fed-up citizens. Then they're twice as funny knowing that, in their meat-deprived brains, JSOs think they're the heroes in these narratives. Like when a bachelor party stole their sign.
"Fiona," the blonde whose gams go all the way from her ass to the ground, can drag me across the road any time she wants.
Then you had the trolls who infiltrated JSO to give them a taste of their own medicine. It turns out, [JSO meets] at Pret a Manager. Where they drink coffee flown in from Peru in single-use cups. We discovered that before ruining everyone's day, the privately educated protestors stand in a circle and teach each one another how to breathe... before deciding who amongst them will be arrested that day.
Cheers to everyone involved in Just Stop Oil. You've done nothing to stop oil, but you have done plenty to unintentionally entertain the planet you think you're saving. ><><><><><>< Brodigan is Grand Poobah of this here website and when he isn't writing words about things enjoys day drinking, pro-wrestling, and country music. Click the headline to read the full report at Louder With Crowder ![]() It is not a coincidence that the free market increases prosperity and that more economic freedom promotes more wealth. It is well documented by now that capitalism has brought more people out of poverty and into freedom than any other system in history. In fact, economic freedom is essential for economic growth. This is why more regulations from the government typically lead to stagnation, to say the least. This is why it is no surprise that New York has once again been labeled “the least free state” in America, according to a report issued by The Cato Institute.
The report showed that the State ranked last place among all states for policies that impacted economic and personal freedoms. By comparison, Florida ranked 2nd after New Hampshire as the most free state. New Hampshire has no income tax and recently cut business taxes to encourage investment. If New York intends to boost economic freedom, it should follow that lead. But I think it is say to say there is no way officials will be cutting taxes in the Empire State. “New York’s terrible economic freedom score is going to continue to drag the state down—and harm its ability to realize its full economic potential,” the Cato report authored by William Ruger and Jason Sorens said. according to The New York Post. “Combined, state and local taxes are crushing. Debt is down from years past but is still the highest in the country at 26.1 percent of income.” “It is little wonder that New Yorkers are fleeing the state in droves. New Yorkers have been voting with their feet for years, leaving a state with such a glorious past and a great magnet supercity in part because of its stifling policies that restrict freedom and opportunity. New York outpaced all other states by far in terms of net out-migration to other states,” co-author Ruger told The Post. New York has ranked last in every Cato study since it started reviewing data in 2000. New Jersey ranks at 47th. California ranked 48th and Hawaii, 49th. Obviously, it is no surprise those are all Democratic strongholds. “One of the worst problems for New York state as a whole is how New York City and Albany drive policy for the rest of the state,” he continued. “This allows left-wing ideologies and powerful concentrated interests to combine to run the state for their benefit while regular New Yorkers suffer. We especially see this in the regulatory area with policies like rent-control, eminent domain, renewable portfolio standards, minimum wage laws, and certificate of need laws.” If New York cared about increasing wealth, it would focus on deregulation since too much of that also decreases economic freedom. No surprise, California and New York are two of the most regulated states in the country. Regulation makes our system less democratic and subsequently less responsive to its citizens. That said, it is no surprise that the least free places in regard to prosperity are all run by Democrats. It is very clear that our education system has been weaponized by the radical left. And on top of that, our “educators” are not having too much success in the education department. The 2020 scores on the National Assessment of Educational Progress recorded the biggest decline in math in thirty years. It is nearly impossible to fire underperforming teachers due to established rules from the unions. On top of that, unions fight to protect bad teachers from accountability, more often than not. So how is the New Jersey teachers union going to solve this problem? Well, they are now pushing to eliminate a basic skills test for teachers, according to a statement issued last week, Fox News reported. New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) believes that abolishing the test will "eliminate unnecessary barriers" to the teaching profession and promote equity.
“Last year, New Jersey eliminated the edTPA, a barrier to becoming a certified teacher. Now it’s time to eliminate another barrier: the basic skills test for teachers,” the statement read. The National Education Association (NEA) is the leading advocate of “no-fault” teaching-whatever happens, don’t blame the teacher. This is why it is no surprise that the union could care less about hiring competent teachers. Passing scores for the basic skills test are 156 for reading, 150 for math, and 162 for writing. The maximum possible score is 200. “New Jersey requires that candidates for teacher certification pass a basic skills test, the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators: Reading, Writing, and Math, or show SAT, ACT, or GRE scores in the top third percentile the year they were taken,” the statement continues. The union also suggested that the New Jersey education department could have eliminated more requirements for those seeking to be teachers. “When the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) adopted changes to the administrative code around teacher certification, it missed an opportunity to eliminate this requirement, which created an unnecessary barrier to entering the profession,” the statement added. NJEA successfully advocated for the educative Teacher Performance Assessment (edTPA), which they criticized as expensive, discriminatory, and unnecessary hindrances to overcoming the shortage of teachers in the state. In September, NJEA president Sean Spiller said that the number of individuals enrolled in teacher preparation programs has been declining over the last decade and noted that the shortage impacts all grade levels. "When you combine the frustration that the educators are feeling with the paperwork and the inundation with these other things that are not helpful for teaching, plus your loss in compensation both in direct salary and also the benefits, it's just a bad combination," Spiller said. The teacher shortage crisis, as well as nearly any problem the unions cry about, is almost entirely self-inflicted. Subsequently, it’s children who are increasingly exploited and suffer from organized labor. Teachers' unions have always been horrific. They have only worked to prevent accountability as they subvert standards and simultaneously deny parents a significant voice in their children's education. Ultimately, it is time to defund the unions as they have stood in the way of any improvement in education for far too long.
