The video below is from last month in Brazil, where leader Jair Bolonsaro explains why he wants to arm citizens: so they don't become slaves to a dictatorship. He notes how quickly Brazilians have lost their rights during the COVID-19 shutdown, and he's not just issuing a warning to Brazilians, he's warning dictator-wannabes who might try to rise up. It's a good speech, even if you have to read for the translation.
