North Korea is the bad Korea. It's been a problem for some time. There was a war and a funny TV show (for the first two seasons) about it. One only has to look to two popular NoKo documentaries to see just how bad: Team America: World Police (2004) and The Interview (2014). Yeonmi Park fled the communist hellhole when she was thirteen. She made it to America for a new life and started school at Columbia University. Where she discovered she fled one communist hell hole for another.
According to Park, the socialist indoctrination camp reminded her of home.
