My intention was to end the evening with these flight attendants. Their infectious joy was on display right after a Trump-appointed judge had the courage to end Joe Biden's airline mask mandate. It was the first time in two years they could work without a mask. This was to be a feel-good post. Instead, Joe Biden's Department of Justice is appealing the judge's decision.
So enjoy the joy and smiles while you still can. Joe Biden's White House wants to take them away.
Biden's DOJ, who will no doubt look for an Obama-appointed judge to rule against the American people, said in a press release: "The Department continues to believe that the order requiring masking in the transportation corridor is a valid exercise of the authority Congress has given CDC to protect the public health. That is an important authority the Department will continue to work to preserve."
They are talking about the same Congress the American people are set to yeet out of office in November.
What's funny is that while Biden's DOJ is filling the appeal, they sound like they want the CDC to be the bad guys. What's EXTRA funny is that the head of the CDC has told Congress she wishes people would stop using the CDC as a scapegoat and go back to ignoring their recommendations. People like Joe Biden, who has outsourced his decisions to the CDC and the, quote, "government guys."
If an Obama-appointed judge (or even a Clinton-appointed judge) overrules the decision, the Joe Biden transportation mask mandate will go back into effect. Those smiles from airline employees will be turned into frowns, which will be covered up. The decision may not affect Americans at large, though. Thanks to the Joe Biden price hike, flying has become unaffordable anyway.
