In keeping with the theme this week of the FBI abusing our trust in our institutions, two FBI agents showed up to "ask questions" of a pro-life advocate. The rub is they didn't know she moved and it was just her mother living there. So they harassed her mother.
Elise Ketch is a member of Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising. PAUU, reports The Daily Signal, gained prominence after the group exposed the bodies of five premie-sized aborted babies from the clinic of DC abortionist Cesare Santangelo.
Ashley Roberts and Kathleen Brown from the FBI, who said they aren't allowed to have their pictures taken without knowing they were on camera, were there to confront the 26-year-old Ketch who has only been with PAUU since last December.
Nothing ominous about this in the slightest:
“We just need to speak with her regarding some information that was sent to us.”
“We just have some information we need to ask her about.”
“We would tell you all the information because she’s not in any trouble, but just out of respect for her, we’d like to speak with her first."
Ketch tells The Daily Signal she doesn't know what "information" the FBI had that needed to be discussed with her. But she has a guess:
"My colleague at Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising, Lauren Handy, is indicted under the FACE Act and is being prosecuted by the federal government. It’s plausible that these FBI agents aimed to collect information from me to help build their case against her."
The FACE Act (Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances) is the law used by the left to make peacefully protesting outside of abortion clinics illegal. It is similar to the laws in England where they can arrest you for praying. When the Adminstration went after Mark Rourk and had him arrested at his home, it was under the FACE Act.
Ketch feels the FBI showing up at her mother's house was an attempt to intimidate HER. It's difficult to see it as anything other than that.
