The Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade on Friday, and the left is unable to calm down about it. Activists are lashing out at the right, while Democratic elected officials, in a totes "non"-insurrectiony way, are claiming our institutions are illegitimate and calling on people to take to the streets. Not unlike how they did in the Summer of 2020. Former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang has someone else to blame. It's the entire Democratic Party for sucking so hard at their jobs.
Yang went on to say this will affect women in red states (which Democrats have made clear they don't give a sh*t about) while the establishment emails people for money.
The leader of the Yang gang isn't wrong. If leftists want to blame anyone, blame the ego and selfishness of Ruth Bader Ginsberg. She was old AF and well-passed retirement age when Obama was president. She could have retired then. Obama could have appointed another leftist douche. And when the Dobbs decision came down to 4-4, John Roberts would have sold out and voted with the libs.
Instead, leftists built up the myth of the "Notorious RBG." She bought into it. And instead of doing what was right for the good of the party, she died and opened the way for the Glorious ACB.
However, Yang is missing one major area where Democrats are to blame. For fifty years, they were successful in saying "my body, my choice" and "women's rights." Then they said men could be women, and your body doesn't get to make choices. Suddenly, even pro-choicers saw the Democrats were full of bullplop.
As for the current president, he is taking this generational Supreme Court decision so seriously that he is taking a summer Friday. And decided to take off for the week before 2:00 in the afternoon. Jeez, I'm not the president, and I at least wait until 3:00.
They canceled the press briefing, too. I guess they felt the press had nothing to ask them about.
Roe is overturned. Biden is taking another extended weekend. Andrew Yang is trying to tell voters "this could have been us, but you playin'." It's morning in America!
