Schools have chosen to completely ignore the concerns of parents as they continue to force students to contend with queer and or sexualized messaging. Sometimes it’s done through horrifyingly inappropriate materials. And then sometimes they just have some dude in a dress perform for kids.
I wish we lived in a time and place where I’d never have the awful opportunity to say such a thing, but at a high school in Wisconsin, that’s just what happens, I guess.
You\u2019d think this was NYC or LA. This is at a middle school in Wisconsin. Why is this needed in a middle school?pic.twitter.com/eMqXswPiin— Mythinformed MKE (@Mythinformed MKE) 1649781693
I already disliked Wisconsin (I’m a Vikings fan. We’re bred to dislike anything having to do with Wisconsin), so this just puts that dislike over the top. In what kind of leftist dystopian fantasy is this considered appropriate? As much as I’ll talk smack on the cheese heads over there, I seriously doubt parents are sending their children to school each day thinking, “Man, I do hope my child gets to watch some middle-aged, overweight drag queen perform.”
According to Empower Wisconsin, the drag performer is none other than a French teacher at the school named Matthew Kashdan. And parents aren’t very happy with this happening.
In an email, one parent wrote,
“I send my children to school and entrust them to teachers that I have to believe are professionals who won’t destroy their innocence for their own pleasure. If MATTHEW KASHDAN makes a decision to perform his drag show at school, what else does he do in his classroom with a roomful of children? What kind of educators thought this was appropriate? Drag shows are ‘fine arts’? If a teacher is a pole dancer or stripper, can they also perform for my children?”
The parent makes a completely valid point. Let’s not forget that this kind of over-the-top performance cannot be separated from its sexual component. Drag shows like this are meant to be a sexual performance, and this guy’s revealing dress drives that point home. I can’t imagine how the young boys in the audience feel about such a thing, especially as their mentally deranged, liberal teachers are no doubt cheering for Frank the fat fetishist.
The point here is to influence the boys to adopt this kind of behavior. These are high schoolers, for Christ’s sake. They’re impressionable. They’re going through so many things at that age, and this kind of strange messaging serves only to confuse them about who they are supposed to be.
If I were a parent of one of these students, I’d be calling for the jobs of every single member of the school’s faculty. All of them. Not a single teacher in that school should have a job because they either were supportive of this nonsense or sat by quietly as it took place.
Parents, enough is enough. Your children are the targets, and you need to start doing what must be done to protect them.
