I’m loath to speak positively about Russia, but when you hear they’re going to be locking pedophiles away for life in frozen hellscapes, one can’t help but give a thumbs up. “Отлично!”
According to Law Enforcement Today, in response to the recent kidnapping, rape, and murder of five-year-old Veronika Nikolayeva in Kostroma on January 4, the Russian parliament is expected to pass a law increasing the penalties for repeat pedophiles to life sentences in arctic prisons in the north or performing harsh labor in mines.
"Russia is to toughen its child sex laws this month to automatically jail repeat pedophiles for life in harsh polar prisons."https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10375133/Repeat-child-rapists-sent-penal-colonies-ARCTIC-life-proposals-Russia.html\u00a0\u2026— Steve Wilkos Show (@Steve Wilkos Show) 1641654002
Russian parliamentarian Vyacheslav Volodin said pedophiles “cannot be called human.”
“Those convicted for such crimes should serve life sentences in the harshest conditions – in the extreme north [of Russia] or in mines. These b******s should undergo the hardest labor, so they remember the crimes they committed every day – and regret them.”
Oh, I think this is something we can all agree on.
We could really use some ideas like this in the United States. There’s definitely a real issue with pedophiles here in the United States, too. They really like to congregate over at CNN, where two producers were recently revealed to be perverted pedophiles. But aside from CNN, it seems there’s another child-sex ring busted every few days.
These people aren’t human. They do deserve the harshest punishment possible. If we can’t sentence these people to be executed, I think Volodin has the next best idea.
