Chattanooga played host to another pride youth day event. These events used to only take place in June when we are ordered to celebrate Ls, Gs, Bs, especially the Ts, Qs, As, Is, other Is, Ps, and whatever the hell the pluses are. Now, every month is a time to show Pride!
It follows the usual controversy. Supporters find events like this one held at a brewing company as "family friendly." Critics refer to such events as "gross." I'll leave it to you, the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website reader to decide when you line up.
Starbuck makes an interesting point. "It’s NOT hard to not spread your legs to kids. It’s NOT hard to redirect a kid away from that area if they grab near your crotch." You wouldn't think so! Yet, here we all are.
What's funny -- not in a "ha ha" way but in an "I can taste the bile" way -- is that I'm old enough to remember that when people criticized "Drag Team Story Time" (that attracted an abnormal amount of sex offenders), those critics were told by supporters it is no different than someone reading a book dressed in character. So instead of being read a story about the ball by a girl dressed as Cinderella, children are being read the story by a man dressed as Sinderfellaa. Supporters were okay with that and claimed without evidence that you were the weird one for not being okay with it. But this was back in the bygone era of 2019.
In 2022, this is acceptable because it's no different than... taking your kid to the strip club?
I will let this next tweet speak for itself. Meta will want me to provide context and/or "both sides." Even sarcastically doing so will make me wan to put my foot through my laptop.
I'll offer the same question as I did in yesterday's post about New Jersey mandating 8th graders learn best practices in having anal sex. Is it my imagination, or is it that the more people speak out about events like this, the more leftist progressive Joe Biden democrat parents go out of their way to expose their children to them? These stories, like having little girls sit for lapdances while adults cheer, aren't new. But over the past year, exposing your children to adult dancers is the preferred way for certain parents to signal their virtue.
Is this all just my imagination? It has to be.
