Rumors are circulating about another big-name CNN personality on HIS way out the door. It's all part of CNN's new owners' agenda to make the news-themed content network suck less. Brian Stelter was rolled out the door. Mary Katherine Ham may be coming back. Now, according to independent reporter Jon Nicosia, there's another major change on the horizon.
Nicosia's past credentials include Mediaite, the Independent Journal Review, and the Washington Examiner. He's also the dude who first let people know Humpty Dumpty was set to have a big fall. His sources are telling him about a new big name about to be yeeted from the network.
"He does not have a place in the new CNN. He reminds us of the Zucker period we are looking to move far from. The only reason he is still on air was not to look like we were 'cleaning house' for political reasons right after the closing"
Nicosia agreed not to release the name until the end of the week. One can only speculate, but Nicosia reported on other shake-ups two months ago:
Since then Tapper has been moved to primetime. Don Lemon has been kicked off of prime time. John Berman and Alisyn Camerota have been kicked off of mornings. John King isn't someone I would classify as "not having a place." And Brianna Keilar doesn't use "he" pronouns.
I'm not one to gossip. But if I were to guess, there is only one man I can think of who would be getting wished well in his future endeavors. But we have to wait until the end of the week to find out for sure.
