Joe Biden sat down for an interview with 60 Minutes. Even while Scott Palley was giving the president a glorified tongue bath, Americans were provided with examples of why the White House avoids letting Ol' Puddinghead talk to people for extended periods at a time.
Here Biden is getting snippy about the record high inflation under Biden's watch and thanks to Biden's policies.
As an aside, you didn't "create" 10,000,000 jobs by telling people who had to shut down their businesses "hey, you can open again." And if we're going to play with statistics. a low unemployment "rate" that is "low" based on the number of people who needed to take a second job to afford to make ends meet in Biden's economy is not the win he thinks it is. The media celebrates the statistic. People vote on the reality.
it wouldn't be a Biden interview if he didn't say things that the White House was quick to walk back. He did it twice. Biden's comments on America's policy towards Taiwan were contradicted. And the government guys who make Biden's public health policy were surprised to find out the pandemic was over.
Interesting side note on that. The rationale behind Joe Biden bailing out his supporters' student loan debt? He based that on America still being in a pandemic.
Then there is Joe Biden defending his mental acuity. Here's a pro tip for everyone playing along at home. When critics say your brain in its current form is made out of at least 51% tapioca, try to avoid pudding analogies.
We are watching you, Mr. President. We see you wandering off. We see your wife needing to treat you like a child in public. We see you needing to be helped as you walk by other world leaders. And we see you falling down a lot.
Joe Biden says to "watch him." So does every Republican running for office in the midterms.
