Oklahoma recently made the news by banning abortion outright. That was awesome. But no good deed goes unpunished, and it would have to be a university to come in and wipe that W from the board. Oklahoma State University decided to host a “Drag Queen Story Hour” as part of the school’s Pride 2022 campaign.
According to Campus Reform, the university advertised the event via fliers, explicitly aiming the event at children ages 2-10 years old. The event was held on April 9, and the website, which has since been removed, stated that “activities are geared towards ages 2-8, but all ages are welcome to join in on the fun.”
I don’t know how many parents in Oklahoma could have been interested in this garbage. Certainly, there was some market for this insanity, but I’m hoping more parents would have a different reaction if confronted by some drag queen attempting to get anywhere near their children.
Other activities included in the perverted pride celebration included “Condom Bingo, a pride parade, the Dragonfly Drag Show, […] and a Lavender Graduation which [] ‘celebrate[d] the graduating LGBTQ+ students.”
It’s one thing to drown college students in sexual messaging and perversion—they’re adults and can make choices to avoid it—but these children, if their parents have bought into this idiocy, don’t have a choice. This should be child abuse. I really don’t care how much Democrats love drag queens, we should all be able to agree children should be protected from this stuff.
Of course, the right believes children should be protected, so Dems are going to go in the exact opposite direction because, well, that’s what they do.
That’s why Democrats are for teaching third-graders about sex and gender, why they are all for drag queens performing for kids, and why the entire education apparatus in America is all about brainwashing everyone into a deviant sex cult.
