I'll tell you right away, I don't have a strong opinion on what's going on in Ukraine. I know invasions are bad, and invasions led by Russia are worse. I know Joe Biden is a nincompoop and Mitt Romney was right all along. But I've been more focused on Canada, which is something I feel is more of an immediate problem that could affect our lives. There are a lot of issues being covered by a lot of people. I'm letting those entrenched in foreign policy issues have strong opinions about the invasion.
Cardi B has thoughts about the crisis. And has assured her fans she is not on any side.
"I actually want to say a lot of things, but I'm just gonna mind my business because sometimes I feel like I have such a big platform that if I don't say the right things I might get killed. [...] I'm really not on NATO’s side. I'm really not Russia’s side. I'm actually in the citizens’ side, because at the end of the day, the world is having a crisis right now.”
It would appear Ms. B's address to the nation was to clarify her earlier statements about the ongoing crisis.
Unclear is if the person asking for Ms. B's statement was exercising his sarcasm muscles or if there was interest in Ms. B's stance after she addressed the nation about the inflation crisis. Quote, "Everything is high."
Some background on Russia vs Ukraine. Following Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014, rebels loyal to Russia seized government buildings in Donetsk and Luhansk. Putin has also ordered the Russian military to act as peacekeepers in the two breakaway regions. And western countries have responded with varying sanctions.
As of this writing, Cardi B has not expressed her opinions on Justin Trudeau's Emergencies Act. We here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website are waiting with bated breath and will provide full coverage if and when she does.
