Megyn Kelly is no fan of the Kardashians. On a recent episode of her podcast, she called the Kardashians a "force of evil" and lamented the vanity they are responsible for in our society.
Here's the quote that's making it's way around social media:
"What I object to, back on the Kardashians, is the unrivaled vanity. Like the self-promotional, out-of-control focus on one’s self — ego, clicks, likes. They’re hugely responsible for that in our society. They didn’t do it by themselves, but more than any other they’ve had a terrible effect in that lane. And I do blame them. I do. I ask them, I interview them and I said, "Are you a force for good or are you a force for evil?"
This doesn't mean Kelly is on Team Ye. Or Team Ray Jay. Or Team Pete Davidson. But maybe -- just maybe -- we might want to consider the idea these women are not the role models that pop culture wants to convince young girls they are. Just saying.
