The wall is going up —whether Joe Biden likes it or not.
Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, citing “the worst border crisis in over 20 years,” signed a bill back in June that financed construction of a wall in Yuma —one of the most popular locations for migrant crossings.
Ducey shared the news on Twitter.
“11 days. 5 gaps. 130 shipping containers. 3,820 linear feet. 48 workers. We did it. Yuma is safer today.”
“In just 11 days, Arizona did the job the federal government has failed to do — and we showed them just how quickly and efficiently the border can be made more secure — if you want to,” Ducey said in a statement.
