The Food and Drug Administration’s vaccine advisory panel today endorsed the use of Moderna’s COVID-19 booster shot for the elderly and others at high risk because of possible exposure at their jobs or they have underlying health factors. The vote was 19-0 but the recommendation is not final and will go before the FDA to issue an official decision.
