Tylan Wallace will be teaming up with Justice Hill.
The Baltimore Ravens selected the former Oklahoma State wide receiver with the 26th pick of the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, the 131st selection overall. This makes Wallace the fifth OSU receiver drafted during Mike Gundy’s tenure.
Wallace came to Oklahoma State as the Cowboys’ top-rated signee in the 2017 cycle and is the second-highest ranked receiver prospect to come to OSU, behind only Dez Bryant. Now he might be replacing him. Bryant spent last year in Baltimore but is currently a free agent.
After showing flashes of his star power as a true freshman, he immediately became a superstar as a sophomore in 2018, racking up 1,491 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. That is the fifth-best receiving total in OSU history and helped make him an All-American and Biletnikoff finalist.
Wallace suffered a season-ending knee injury in 2019 but returned in 2020 and led the Big 12 with 922 receiving yards. He’s a two-time Big 12 First Team selection and made the conference’s Second Team in 2019, despite appearing in only eight games.
His career 3,434 receiving yards lands him as fifth all-time in Oklahoma State history and his 26 touchdown catches lands him in sixth. Wallace is No. 9 in career receiving yards in Big 12 history.
