OSU Bullets
• At some point, the Pokes are going to need to put 35 to win… right?
Sanders coming of age this season alongside Chuba Hubbard and Tylan Wallace is tantalizing. You get the feeling OSU can score plenty of points yet.
You also realize the Cowboys don’t necessarily need to, barring a complete defensive breakdown.

• Here’s your number to watch on Saturday, folks – 35 passes from Texas’ Sam Ehlinger. Make him throw 36+ and he’s 5-15.
If the Pokes can get a lead and make Ehlinger throw it, good times are coming.
• Good piece here looking from a high-level at how old friend Mike Yurcich is calling plays in Austin – spoiler: it’s not like he did in Stillwater
• If you want an update on the contenders for the Big 12 title three or four games in – look no further:
The Cowboys are 3-0 in the league and still are scheduled to play Kansas State and OU, plus Texas and TCU.
Kansas State is 4-0 in the league, and the Wildcats still have OSU and Iowa State, as well as Texas.
Iowa State is 3-1 but has the easiest schedule left. Only Kansas State and Texas among the top six teams in the conference.
Well, OU, 2-2, actually has the easiest schedule left. The Sooners have played Kansas State, Iowa State, Texas and TCU. Bedlam is the only game left that’s not against one of the four bottom teams in the conference. [NewsOK]

• Solid piece from the O’Colly looking at the versatility the Pokes look for in secondary players
Cade Cunningham named preseason freshman of the year in the Big 12 – I share Marshall’s sentiment about Likekele not making honorable mention All-Big 12:
• Here’s your OSU-Halloween wallpapers – that Pete one is terrific.

• Solid faith-based article on why to consider writing from my man Challies
For support of my candy-take yesterday (Reese’s, Peanut M&M’s, Snickers), I found where a writer from The Athletic weighed in:
1. (UR) Starburst FaveREDs Bite-Size (so dangerous – can kill a bag without thinking)
2. Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkins (king of chocolate candy – all holiday specials, specifically eggs)
3. Peanut Butter M&Ms
4. Sour Patch Strawberries and Watermelon Slices
5. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
