Oklahoma State is on the hunt for its next diamond-in-the-rough receiver, and they might have found one in a former Florida State walk-on turned Div-II playmaker.
Reginald Harden Jr. announced a Cowboy scholarship offer Tuesday, a day after he committed to Arkansas State.

Harden hails from Division-II Benedict College and fits a prototype of player that has provided value for OSU’s offense of late.
In 10 games last season, Harden totaled just 424 yards and four touchdowns, but he’s a deep threat, averaging nearly 25 yards per reception with catches of 87, 55 and 51 yards.

And at 6-foot-5 and 200 pounds he fits the mold of recent receiver transfers like Leon Johnson III and Tay Martin who can line up on the outside and create matchup nightmares for opposing secondaries.
Harden entered the transfer portal on Dec. 13 and began to receive offers from the likes of North Texas, Coastal Carolina, Louisiana Tech and Arkansas State, the latter of which he committed to on Monday. But the Cowboys are a massive step up in competition level and opportunity.
He started his college career as a walk-on at Florida State where he spent two seasons as a scout team receiver after converting from defensive end. According to Harden’s X account, he had two years of eligibility remaining.
