The Cade Cunningham era of Cowboy basketball is less than a month from starting, and finally the Pokes’ schedule is coming together.
Oklahoma State released is Big 12 schedule on Monday, and it includes a trio of Big Monday contests. The Pokes will host West Virginia on Jan. 4 and travel to Iowa State (Jan. 25) and Kansas (Feb. 8) for Big Monday matchups, marking 50 times the Cowboys have been featured in Big Monday games since 1992.
The Pokes will play a pair of league games in December, hosting TCU on Dec. 16 to start the Big 12 season before traveling to Texas on Dec. 20.
Both of this season’s Bedlam matchups will happen on Saturdays. The Sooners will travel to Gallagher-Iba Arena on Jan. 16, and the Pokes will close their regular season with a trip to Norman on Feb. 27.
OSU will host Kansas on Jan. 12.
Baylor might start the season at the top of all rankings. The Cowboys host the Bears on Jan. 23 and travel to Waco on Feb. 20.
Things like home and away might not matter too much this season with COVID restrictions on attendance. At his media news conference Wednesday, OSU coach Mike Boynton said he was unsure how many people would be allowed in Gallagher-Iba Arena this season.
There are a few nonconference foes still to be determined for the Pokes, but here is their 2020-21 schedule so far.
