The early signing period for the 2024 class opens next week, but the Cowboys got some good news in regards to the 2025 class on Monday.
Kobi Foreman, a four-star corner from Richardson, Texas, announced his top five: Oklahoma State, Baylor, SMU, Houston and Arizona State.

Listed at 5-foot-11, 170 pounds, Foreman is the No. 338 player in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports Composite ranking. That pins him as the No. 35 corner in the class and the No. 52 player from the state of Texas. On3 is even higher on Foreman, listing him as the No. 256 player in his class, the No. 29 corner and the No. 43 player from Texas. He also holds offers to Texas Tech, Arkansas and others.
Foreman played both sides of the ball at Berkner High School this season, playing receiver and corner. The Rams went 6-5 in his junior season, making it to the Texas 6A-DI playoffs.
The Cowboys don’t yet have a commit in the 2025 class, but not every program does, as it’s still prime 2024 time. Foreman would be an excellent launching off point for the Pokes, though. His 0.8948 Composite score is higher than any of the Cowboys’ 2024 commits.
