The Cowboys held their annual The Show passing camp on Wednesday, and a pair young passers made a good enough impression to leave Stillwater with offers.
Class of 2027 quarterbacks Malachi Zeigler and Zephyr Kreye announced Oklahoma State offers. Being in the class of 2027 means they just finished their freshman years of high school.
According to 247Sports, these are just the third and fourth quarterback offers OSU has sent out in the 2027 class, joining Weston Nielsen (Bastrop, Texas) and Colton Nussmeier (Flower Mound, Texas). These are among the first 2027 offers OSU has sent out regardless of position.
Here is a quick look at Zeigler and Kreye.
Malachi Zeigler
Listed at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, Zeigler hails from Benton, Louisiana.
Neither Zeigler nor Kreye are in the rankings because 2027 rankings don’t exist yet on the major services.
Zeigler’s recruitment is already taking off, however, as he has offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, SMU and others.
Zephyr Kreye
Out of Denton Guyer, the same high school that housed J.W. Walsh, Kreye is listed at 6-3, 190 pounds.
According to MaxPreps, Kreye played in two varsity games as a freshman, throwing for 52 yards on nine attempts while rushing for another 15 yards on four attempts.
Like Zeigler, Kreye also has Power Five programs after him, as he has announced offers from TCU, Houston, Texas Tech and others.
