Tough news here as the Cowboys were slated to wrestle a nationally televised dual with West Virginia on Sunday, but that has now been canceled because of COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
Interestingly, OSU Tweeted this shortly after, seemingly suggesting the door may be open for OSU to potentially still compete this weekend somewhere else.
The release states “At this time neither dual has been rescheduled.”
The Cowboys are 8-0 in duals this season, having most recently beaten Little Rock 35-6 last weekend. If the OSU doesn’t find any sort of replacement this weekend, the next scheduled dual for the Cowboys is their Jan. 23 matchup with Lehigh in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
