This is not the start to the season Oklahoma State fans were hoping for.
In the first quarter of OSU’s season-opener against Tulsa, redshirt sophomore quarterback Spencer Sanders headed to the locker room with an apparent lower body injury that he suffered on the Cowboys’ opening drive.
Sanders took two awkward hits on the drive that put OSU up 3-0.
Junior college transfer Ethan Bullock replaced Sanders on the Cowboys’ next drive, which ended in a three-and-out. Bullock, a 6-foot-4 pro-style quarterback, was a Class of 2020 signee for OSU who arrived on campus earlier this summer. He signed with the Pokes out of City College of San Francisco.
