Oklahoma will reportedly enter the 2020 season without its leading returning rusher. According to Jason Kersey of The Athletic, Kennedy Brooks will opt out of the season. Brooks was entering his junior year coming off of back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. In 2018, he logged 119 carries for 1,056 yards and 12 touchdowns. Last season, Brooks posted totals of 1,011 yards and 6 touchdowns on 155 carries. Jalen Hurts led the 2019 Sooners in rushing with 1,298 yards and 20 TDs on 233 rushes.
