There are now thousands of unemployment fraud complaints being investigated by authorities in Oklahoma. The money that’s meant for Oklahomans who need it may be falling into the hands of people who’re trying to cheat the system. At first, Amanda Herrold was confused. “I could tell it was a credit card,” said Herrold. “Sure enough, it was an unemployment card. ” She said, when she realized what it was, she was frustrated.

For many, FreedomFest may have been the light at the end of this tunnel. A big event to bring the community together, but River Parks says the time just isn't right. "You can't wait until July 3rd to make this decision. You have to make it in advance. I don't think very many people are going to be surprised, because there have been a lot of things canceled," said River Parks Executive Director Matt Meyer. But FreedomFest will not be one of them.
