Tulsa police say a driver hit a bicyclist near Pine and North Peoria before driving away Sunday night. Officers were called to the scene just before 9 p. m. Police said the bicyclist was taken to a nearby hospital but did not survive. Witnesses told police they saw a truck hit a bicyclist then drive off. While still on scene, someone called 911 saying he thought he'd hit a person with his truck. Police are speaking to him, but say they believe he's the driver involved in the hit-and-run.

(KTUL) – A deadly shooting involving an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper has been ruled justified by a district attorney. Trooper Caleb Cole, a 14-year veteran of the OHP, shot a man June 25 after a traffic stop on the Will Rogers Turnpike in rural Craig County.
