A new Tulsa restaurant is celebrating its grand opening during the coronavirus pandemic. When construction began in late 2019, franchise owner Cindy McLain did not expect to open amid a global crisis. Flying Burger and Seafood was ready to open in April 2020, but all dining rooms were forcibly closed by the mayor, so the grand opening was pushed back to May. “We’ve never been through an economic challenge like this one but we’re figuring it out one step at a time,” McLain said.
