OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH)--The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission (OESC) and the U. S. Department of Labor released new figures Tuesday that show Oklahoma's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate declined to 5. 3 percent in September, which is ninth-lowest in the country. RELATED: Unemployment in Oklahoma continues to declineThe September rate improved from August's 5. 7 percent mark and is also below the national unemployment rate, which is now at 7. 9 percent.
