Tulsans celebrate Oktoberfest with virtual, in-person events

It’s the first time in decades that Tulsa’s popular Oktoberfest won’t be raising a stein of beer at Riverwest Festival Park. The annual Linde Oktoberfest has gone virtual this year amid the pandemic. The event normally draws in thousands of people, but this year organizers spent Friday night sharing videos on Facebook and sharing prosts from afar. “Boy, we considered every possible option," said organizer Tonja Carrigg.
