Tulsans over 65 begin receiving vaccine Monday as many struggle to find appointments

A record number of new cases in a day comes just hours before Tulsa County will expand who’s receiving the vaccine. Tulsans are desperate to get the vaccine but many are finding out that just because you’re eligible doesn’t mean you can make an appointment. The Tulsa Health Department will be administering 5,625 vaccines this week – half will go to healthcare facilities and be used as booster shots for those who’ve already received their first shot.
