Watching the animated “Robin Hood” on Disney+.
Wife-ji has never seen it before, while some of my fondest memories are of movie day in elementary school when we’d sit in the gym or auditorium and they’d wheel out the projector ? with FILM REELS and we’d watch it.
Looking back, I realize now that there were some pretty big words in this film for 3rd graders. I’m guessing only the Indian ?? & Vietnamese ?? kids knew what a “Corpulent Cleric” was.
Today, though...I’m surprised that Disney didn’t put a disclaimer in front like they’ve done with Peter Pan, Dumbo and other classics due to “Islamophobia” for “glorifying the Crusades”.
