April 25, 2020 at 10:00AM - StevenCrowder REBUTTAL: Trevor Noah's Lockdown Protest Lies! | Louder with Crowder Click the headline to read the full report at StevenCrowder It’s day eleventy-eight of the coronavirus aka COVID-19 aka Wuhan got you all in check aka kung flu lockdown. I wonder if my favorite bar thinks about me too. I just made my cat Employee of the Month for the second month in a row. And I’m not proud to admit this, but I’m not sure I remember how to put on pants that require a belt. But it’s all okay, because of all the celebrities reminding us that we’re all in this together. Or, more specifically, that #WereAllinthisTogether. Famous people are all of us (see If You Weren’t Sick Before, Here’s a Montage of Celebrities Singing ‘Imagine’ and Actor Josh Gad Has a Meltdown on Instagram Over Social Distancing). So as this video points out, to everyone more famous than I am, from the bottom of my heart… suck it.
I will say this, though. All the music is great. I’ve often said that the best thing about the government shutting down the economy during a pandemic is all the musicians hopping on the social media platform of their choosing to play a few songs. The kung flu is the best thing to ever happen to music fans. As a matter of fact, after going to a wedding in Maryland on Saturday I’m headed to Nashville that same evening for a Luke Combs concert at the Grand Ol’ Opry. The best part is i won’t be leaving my basement for either. So please, bands and singer-songwriters, you keep doing your thing. To every other celebrity, just shut up. Because the only thing worse than being stuck in the house during a pandemic is having to hear all of you constantly reminding us about being stuck in the house during the pandemic. Go away. No specific reason why they returned the donation. But I think you know that I know that you know that I know there’s a safe assumption why.
Hey, remember when Joe Biden raped someone? I’m sorry. I mean allegedly raped someone (see NYT Deletes Tweet About the Sexual Assault Charge Against Joe Biden and Joe Biden Put on Blast by …’To Catch a Predator’s’ Chris Hansen?! [VIDEO]). Joe Biden deserves due process over something that allegedly happened a long, long time ago. Unlike, say, Brett Kavanaugh. Or Louis C.K. Don’t get it twisted. Biden does deserve due process over the accusation. Just like both Louis and Kavanaugh do. But I don’t make the rules here. The Left makes the rules. I’m just playing along. I just wish there were truth-tellers or firefighters that could challenge Joe Biden on this. An institution of people whose sole purpose is to hold our elected leaders accountable. Sadly, that’s not the world we live in. Unless Joe Biden were a Republican. NOT SUBSCRIBED TO THE PODCAST? FIX THAT! Click the headline to read the full report at Louder With Crowder Social distancing is literally the most important thing we can be doing right now. Those of you who want to reopen the economy can eat a dick. Go sit in the back and stay quiet. It’s all about social distancing. So much so that it’s our duty as Americans to snitch on anyone not following the rules (see De Blasio Asked People to Snitch on Social Distancing Violaters and This Social Distancing Snitch Is the Hero We Deserve). Well, a crime was committed. Dare I say, a crime against humanity. Someone get the Capitol Police on the phone and tell them to arrest Nancy Pelosi. If we don’t see her getting jolly-stomped in front of her Hyundai for this, I don’t even know what America I’m living in any more.
This happened while they were debating the latest round of financial aid to make up for them shutting down the economy. Which, I guess … thanks? Look, my name’s not Karen. I live in one of the highest-risk areas in the country. I wear a mask. When I go grocery shopping, some other people do as well. Some people don’t. And what happens to those people is nothing. No one starts fights with them. They aren’t dragged out of the produce aisle kicking and screaming. Everyone just goes about their business and leaves. However, the maskless person trying to get the last bottle of hand soap isn’t the speaker of the House. They aren’t the head of the political party encouraging people to rat out their neighbors for masklessly standing only five feet apart from each other. They sure as hell aren’t rubbing their nose and wiping it on the meat section. If they did, I’m fairly certain beating them with a London broil would be an acceptable response. Nancy Pelosi is the head of the idiots making the rules and demanding you follow or else. So, like, at least try to lead by example? NOT SUBSCRIBED TO THE PODCAST? FIX THAT! Antibody tests are emerging and the results so far suggest thousands if not millions of people have already been infected and have developed antibodies for COVID-19. Studies have already emerged from both Stanford and USC, downgrading the lethality of COVID-19 to not even a full one percent. But that was the West Coast. What about in New York which is experiencing the worst of it? Well, according to this new report, the statewide death rate could actually be 0.5 percent. As in zero point five percent. From Spectrum News 1:
That’s good news, y’all. It’s good news the disease isn’t as fatal as we once thought, especially in a part of the country that seems to have it the worst. Of course when it comes to reopening the country, both the article this came from and pandemic pornographers urge caution about optimism. That’s because, in my opinion, keeping the global economy shut down which has resulted in 26 million unemployed Americans, and food plants possibly going out of commission, is a perfect foundation for the rise of socialism. Already big government fiends have discovered that if you implement big government controls one step at a time, and insist it’s for their own safety, Americans will go for it. Here’s what needs to happen next: the country needs to reopen. Immediately. The shutdown was a mistake. That’s putting it mildly. In my opinion, the shutdown is an unmitigated disaster. If you tell me reopening the country means I hate old people, then I say if you insist it should remain closed, you want Americans to starve. I didn’t make the rules, I’m just playing by them. But when it comes time for Americans to get back to work, Congresswoman AOC says Americans shouldn’t go back to work. I legit can’t even find the words. While I go look for them, please watch this video that I assume was put on YouTube because the producers thought it was a valuable point.
As a wise philosopher once said, what a bunch of malarkey. Though it’s similar to malarkey we’ve heard before (see AOC Celebrates Oil Price Plunge, Job Losses as Way to Push Green Agenda and AOC Encourages Rent Strike, Blames Capitalism for People Owning Property). Let’s set aside the fact that being able to work IS liberating. Having the ability to provide for yourself and provide for your family is more liberating than having to rely on Big Daddy government. Also liberating is not worrying how much more other people have and instead appreciating what you have. Put that aside for now. Let’s stop with the “now is not the time to politicize the pandemic” nonsense. Actually, scratch that. It’s still not the time to politicize the pandemic. It is, however, time to push back against people who are trying to politicize it. Because Americans took a gamble agreeing to these quarantine guidelines, a gamble that is looking more and more like it was based on faulty information. If we’re at the point where socialist harpies who like to dramatically flail their arms to show what a serious person they are want to see the entire American economy remade in her image, hard pass. Here’s Her Dumb Reason … [VIDEO] Click the headline to read the full report at Louder With Crowder Andrew Cuomo has done a really good job dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. His brother Fredo, not so much (see CNN Wants You to Believe Chris Cuomo has Just Come out of Quarantine and This COVID levee is gonna break…). But the governor has shown great leadership. His daily press conferences have been all fact with zero politics. Quite frankly, I’ve heard more about how much Donald Trump has done from Cuomo than I have from Donald Trump. I give the governor an A- in his handling of the ordeal. So I have to be honest, I find it somewhat refreshing to be reminded of what a douchebag he is usually. Like, comments like this are a sign that a return to normalcy is just over the horizon.
Supermarkets. He’s talking about supermarkets and maybe delivery people. You can’t get a job working as an essential employee in a hospital. Most of what we need there requires schooling. From schools that are closed. You can’t get a job being an essential police officer because they canceled all testing. I’m assuming the essential fire department is the same. Probably the essential EMT workers as well. The only essential businesses that are hiring are places that sell food. God bless them for doing so. But there are two employment issues there. One, because of all the unemployed people looking for work, all the extra jobs have been filled. Two, and this is important, they’re going to have to let people go as MORE AND MORE PEOPLE DON’T HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY FOOD THERE BECAUSE THEY’RE OUT OF WORK FROM THEIR NONESSENTIAL JOBS. New Yorkers have been more than understanding. The curve has been flattened. The worst-case scenario we were preparing for was avoided. The USNS Comfort is no longer needed. These are all good things. Cheers all around. But it’s time to let people get their lives back. Or, at the very least, if we do in fact need a few more weeks, maybe not be a dickhead to them for vocally expressing their stress and anxiety. NOT SUBSCRIBED TO THE PODCAST? FIX THAT! Brit Hume on FoxNews, which I am considering a mainstream media outlet, or at least a major media outlet player, has cast an important first stone: voicing the possibility that maybe all this shutdown and lockdown around the coronavirus was a giant mistake.
